We know that as a parent you have concerns about your child's welfare and safety when they are away from home. This page will provide you with general information to help you prepare for your child's adventure with us.
How is the trip chaperoned?
To ensure that students are properly monitored, Entourage Management requires a safe ratio of 1:10 adults to students on each trip. Our Tour Director is responsible for the well being of the entire group, but individual chaperone assignments are the responsibility of the group leader at your school. Please contact your child's educator / director with any questions or concerns that you may have.
Detailed Tour Itineraries
Final tour itineraries will be issued ~30 days prior to your departure date. Detailed itineraries will include a timeline of each day, hotel addresses and phone numbers, and a cell phone contact for your tour director. Our itineraries will also include special tips in regards to packing, type of clothing that is appropriate for events on the trip and other suggestions to ensure that you prepare for all aspects of the tour.
How much money should they bring?
Each of our tours is customized and can include a variety of meal plans. We will advise you what amount is appropriate for meals that are not included in your tour package so that you can budget appropriately how much money to send with your child. Souvenirs and personal items are at the discretion of each individual.
Emergency Contacts
With your final itinerary you will be provided contact information for the tour director that is traveling with your group. You may also call our office at (866) 894-TOUR (8687) 24-hours a day and our staff will assist you in making contact with the group.
Baggage Limitations
Each person is allowed one (1) checked piece of luggage and one (1) carry on item. We request that your checked luggage be limited to 22x10x30 in size and a maximum of 40 lbs. Luggage tags will be provided and should be attached to each piece of checked luggage. Instruments and Band Uniforms are not included in the baggage limitations. In most cases, students are required to handle their luggage on their own throughout the tour.
Trip Cancellation & Interruption Insurance
A detailed outline of our cancellation policy with be provided to your child's educator / director in the planning stages of your tour. We encourage you to protect your investment in your student's travel by purchasing our optional Trip Cancellation & Interruption Insurance.
